 Prof. Yuehui CHEN
Yuehui Chen received his B.Sc. degree in Department of Mathematics (Major in Control Theory) from the Shandong University of China in 1985, and Master and Ph.D. degree in School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Kumamoto University of Japan in 1999 and 2001. During 2001–2003, he had worked as a Senior Researcher of the Memory-Tech Corporation at Tokyo. Since 2003 he has been a member at the Faculty of School of Information Science and Engineering in Jinan University, where he currently heads the Computational Intelligence Laboratory. His research interests include Evolutionary Computation, Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic Systems, Hybrid Computational Intelligence and their applications in time-series prediction, system identification, intelligent control, intrusion detection systems, web intelligence and bioinformatics. He is the author and co-author of more than 70 technique papers. Professor Yuehui Chen is a member of IEEE, the IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society and the Computational Intelligence Society, a member of Young Researchers Committe of the World Federation on Soft Computing, and a member of CCF Young Computer Science & Engineering Forum of CHINA.  

 Prof. Bo YANG
Bo Yang is a professor and vice-president of Jinan University, Jinan, China. He is the Director of the Provincial Key Laboratory of Information and Control Engineering, and also acts as the Associate Director of Shandong Computer Federation, and Member of the Technical Committee of Intelligent Control of Chinese Association of Automation. His main research interests include computer networks, artificial intelligence, machine learning, knowledge discovery, and data mining. He has published numerous papers and gotten some of important scientific awards in this area.

 Prof. Yong ZHANG
Yong Zhang is a professor and dean of School of Control Science and Engineering of Jinan University. He received his M.E. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology 1991. He is currently a PhD student at School of Electrical Engineering and Automation of Harbin Institute of Technology. During 2000–2003, he had worked as a visiting scholar at School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests include fuzzy systems, audio and video compression, Power Electronics & transmission and Robot Control.

 Prof. Jiwen DONG
Jiwen Dong received his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Computer Science and Automatics from the Wuhan University and the Wuhan University of Science and Technology, China, in 1985 and 1995, respectively. He is currently a PhD student at the Wuhan University of Science and Technology. His research interests include neural networks, fuzzy systems, evolutionary algorithms and image processing. He is currently an associate professor and vice president of the School of Information Science and Engineering of Jinan University.

 Lect. Jin ZHOU
Jin Zhou received his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Computer Science from the Shandong University, China, in 1998 and 2001, respectively. He is currently a director of the Department of Computer Science and Technology of Jinan University. His main research interests include software engineering, data mining, and bioinformatics. He has published numerous papers in this area.

 Research Assistant Lei ZHANG
Lei Zhang received her B.E. in School of mathematics, Qufu Normal University and M.E. degrees in Computer Science from the Jinan University, China, in 1997 and 2000, respectively. She is currently a research assistant of the School of Information Science and Engineering of Jinan University. Her main research interests include Parallel Computing, Computational Intelligence, Grid Application. She has published numerous papers in this area.
